Focus Community Organization, Inc. is a non-profit corporation founded in 2009 under the direction of Janine Hinds, an author and youth mentor wanting to make a fun and necessary impact on today's youth.

The organization is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors skilled in youth counseling, secondary education and event planning whose mission is to creatively give teens in Broward County, Florida the tools they need to succeed in life after high school.

Since implementing the Teen Focused after-school program in 2011, Focus has been able to effectively provide character development, career prep, and education services to middle and high school students spanning from Fort Lauderdale to Pompano Beach through workshops and events.

Our vision is to give teens in communities all over Florida the opportunity to reach their full potential by providing the necessary tools.
